Family Support
From parent mentoring to coaching young adults, Miriam's Heart offers a variety of unique services to support the needs of children and their caregivers. Miriam's Heart is not an adoption agency but rather serves to connect the dots, solve problems, address behaviors, and help prospective parents consider their pathway forward to becoming adoptive or foster parents.
Miriam's Heart also provides the Blend, a gathering of families who have been blended by the blessing of adoption and foster care.
Child Advocacy Network (CAN)
We are a non-partisan, volunteer-driven initiative established to help children thrive. We work with legislators to address issues in the child welfare system to help secure safety and permanency for children at risk. Learn more.
Grants
The Miriam’s Heart Fund awards grants regardless of agency, church, or organizational affiliation and has mobilized hundreds of thousands in funding to adoptive families to pay for adoption costs and therapy. We have brought children who were orphaned into safe and permanent families from all over the world.
Respite & Events
Miriam's Heart offers respite events throughout the year for children and teens. Our goal is to provide a therapeutic environment with a highly nurturing and highly structured series of activities that target building resilience, mindfulness, attunement, self-efficacy, trust, and healing.
Additionally, Miriam's Heart hosts several family-friendly events throughout the year. The Blend, giving back Christmas party, Back-To-School Bash, Family Harvest Party, Family Fun Night at the Somerset Patriots, and many other events throughout the year.
