Adoptee and Survivor Advisory Group (May)

A.S.A (Adoptee & Survivor Advisors) is a group of adult adoptees and survivors of childhood abuse & neglect coming together to talk and support each other and advocate for children at risk. We will lead Miriam's Heart in advocating to ensure that children's needs will be at the center of New Jersey's laws and state-sponsored programs. Our secondary goal is to help Miriam's Heart support families in need, encourage & provide feedback to professionals working with children (Child Welfare Connect), educate adoptive and foster parents, and mentor teens through structured internship and mentoring programs, and inform programming at Miriam's Heart.
