About The Event

During this workshop, parents and children will work together to create a miniature garden or "fairy garden," a container garden decorated with tiny paths of stones, statuettes, and other miniatures. The magic of this activity is hard to resist, for children and adults alike. Led by Emily Yang, LCSW who has over 10 years of experience in play therapy, parents will learn how to reflect a child's emotions while playing and creating together. Emily will also explain how to let children guide the creative process of putting together the miniature gardens.
