Thrive Retreat
In 2016, in partnership with others, Miriam's Heart helped to facilitate the Cruising with Connection - parent training and respite cruise. Adoptive and foster parents arrived frazzled and frayed and left passionate and encouraged as trauma-informed, rested, and knowledgeable parents.
In 2021, a group of trainers gathered to revive the idea and bring the Thrive Retreat to restore, train and renew parents. Join us as a couple, individually or with a friend (some rooms can accommodate 3 adults!) Choose to bring your family or enjoy an adults-only time away. This program is flexible and meant to offer plenty of time to learn, rest, and play! To THRIVE!
